AP20 Mary Magdalene
There is much speculation about who the real Mary Magdalene was. Her gospel and teachings were said to have been destroyed by the earlier church. Many have differing opinions on who she really was. I myself was brought up having a certain view on Mary Magdalene, on that would be completely turned on its head later in my life.. .
At the very beginning of my spiritual journey, I remember being strongly drawn to Mary Magdalene, I was confused as to why. At that time my life was very challenging and I was struggling with holding shame and forgiving myself for past hurt I felt I had caused others. During meditation one day I became very aware of Mary Magdalene. I remember that her energy was like nothing I had ever experienced before, it was the most beautiful healing experience I had ever had up till that time. I could feel empathically like she truly connected with my pain and suffering. I was aware of a sense of deep compassion and innate understanding coming from her towards me. I knew with all of my heart that this was the beautiful energy of Mary Magdalene. As a result of this healing, I felt I gained a new perspective and my suffering was released. Over time during meditation, I felt the loving presence of Mary Magdalene again and in particular Jesus would always step in beside Mary. I began to sense deeply that who Mary Magdalene was portrayed to be and who she actually was were polls apart. She felt to me to be a powerful beautiful radiant divine feminine energy and very much in balance and harmony with the energy of Jesus. The light that would shine when I would invoke her was powerful and loving .
I believe that Mary Magdalene has been greatly misunderstood throughout history. Her energy is that of great compassion and deep love for humanity and she will assist once called upon to do so. In my opinion she holds the energy of the divine feminine and wholeness. In particular Mary Magdalene’s energy can assist with issues relating to forgiveness of yourself as much as others. Her feast day is the 22nd of July. I would strongly encourage anyone drawn to Mary Magdalene to call upon her.Debbie Boyle, Angelic Connections www.angelicconnections.ie
