Jeremiel

.Jeremiel, whose name means “God's mercy,”
Archangel Jeremiel is a deep purple-amethyst Angel of Hope and Transition. During this life enhancing attunement to him he transmutes your challenges within purifying, transforming waters so that you open up to his hope, inspiration and support.
Jeremiel (sometimes called Ramiel) in the Hebrew language means God's Exaltation. One of the eight traditional archangels, he is depicted holding scales of justice, which relates to his traditional role as the angelic overseer of Hades, or the place of the dead ("Bosom of Abraham").
Here Jeremiel was responsible for placating the righteous souls awaiting the Lord who resided there. In post-Christian world Jeremiel's duty evolved and is paired with St. Simon Peter as gatekeeper of Heaven. In both cases, Jeremiel watches over and guides the holy deceased in their afterlife journey.
Jeremiel also serves as an angel of death who sometimes joins Archangel Michael and guardian angels escorting people's souls from Earth to heaven, and once in heaven, helps them review their earthly lives and learn from what they've experienced, according to some Jewish traditions.
When I think of Archangel Jeremiel, I think of his power of forgiveness. Whether toward yourself or others, forgiveness is a powerful ability that allows us to let go of negative energy that does not serve us. Jeremiel helps us do this by guiding us to evaluate our lives and the nature of our relationships, including our relationships with ourselves. When we take stock of our own actions and feelings, we equip ourselves to move forward. Then, we can adjust ourselves according to the insight gained by deep and genuine reflection.
