IN05 Cross Of Healing
The Celtic cross we recognise today evolved from the Chi-Rho that consists of the two Greek letters X (chi) and P (rho) which was enclosed within a circle, and the ancient Celtic
divine sun wheel. The wheel symbolises God, the motionless mover, the centre has no dimensions and cannot turn, yet all moves around it. The round symbolises female energy and the cross symbolises male energy, the seasons and the four directions of movement. Superimposed they express
harmony and balance.
Yellow and Gold represent the sun, intuition and illumination, the peacocks either side of the cross symbolize purity of spirit.
