Breath Of The Beloved

Breath Of The Beloved

At the start of this project I sensed it was going to be another important piece , these always herald a time of upheaval where all kinds of stressful worldly distractions rise up that I need to balance with working in the  sacred space.  Its not uncommon for lots of energy activity to occur, such as kettles throwing themselves off shelves and brushes and pens to disappear and reappear. I found the need to create a shrine on the work after finishing work each evening and would be woken at odd hours and drawn to return to the work to complete a section. The title came from the need of human breath to adhere the gold leaf to the star.
