AWK01 Pathway Through The Labyrinth

The Pathway Through The Labyrinth painting came from a significant experience that occurred in 2011, and after a long period of living in my car. My world was pretty much in total collapse, I had been unable to work for nearly year and my creative partnership to Merlin had stopped, after nearly 50 books collaboration.Pathway was the first art I created after that period, and was my first expression of what was going on for me internally. My path though my own labyrinth had twists and turns, there were often times that I thought I was finally reaching my goal, only to find the next turn frustratingly just directed me away from it. Its only looking back at my journey, that i have a better understanding of the lessons I needed to learn from each turn. The new series of paintings I would start, I began to see that the reality, is that there is no path to our reconnection to the Beloved, we were never disconnected.
